How many naps?

How many naps does your LO take during the day? At P's 9 mo appt the doc said she might try to drop her morning nap sometime. Which would bring us down to one nap a day. And yesterday and today this is what happened. Just wondering what everyone else's experience with naps is like. Thanks!

We are still at 2 naps and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Since LO started crawling he really needs those naps to recharge. He takes one 1 hr nap in the morning and his late afternoon nap is about 1.5 hrs.

DD will be 10 months on Thursday, and is taking two naps every day. Her morning nap is typically 60-90 minutes, and in the afternoon, it's only about 40.

DS has always been a late transitioner, he just went to 2 naps recently, so I see it being a while. He definitely still needs both. I have heard it's common to go from 2 to 1 between 12-18 months, but of course, some babies could be earlier. I am going to follow his lead, although his DC that he'll be starting in September is a fan of 1 nap a day... will see about that!

We're still on two naps.  I can't imagine DD (at 1 year) dropping her morning nap!  From what I've read, 15 months is the typical age for babies to start skipping their first nap of the day.

2 or 3... some days 1.. I'm just over trying to schedule them. She definitely does nap though, I guess that's a plus.

still 2 naps (9:30 and 3:30) sometimes he will only take 1 nap (like yesterday he was up from 12pm till 9pm!!) but it is very very rare. But his afternoon nap is made me drop a bottle pretty much

Mostly 2 naps. She is pushing her am nap to the afternoon and her afternoon closer to bedtime.

We're at two naps... 60-90 minutes in the morning and 90ish in the afternoon. I thought LOs usually keep 2 naps through their first birthday, but I guess all babies are different.

DD is still on 2 naps.  Her first nap is anywhere from 8:30/9am to 10/10:30am.  Her second nap is 12/12:30pm-2pm.  I don't see her dropping the morning one soon.  My Dr. says not to worry.  So we'll see....

Z recently went from 2 one hour naps a day to 1 two hour nap in the morning. Her bedtime is 6pm though so she's not too horrible from not taking the afternoon nap anymore.

DD started dropping from 2 naps to 1 at around 9 months. There will be a week where she'll do her 2 naps and then another week where she'll just consolidate it all into one long nap. She does okay with the one nap a day as long as it's at least 2 hours long.

My son takes 2-3 naps a day. Usually a short one in the morning and then a longer one in the early afternoon, and then sometimes a nap in the early evening.
