Cold Flash?

I wonder if there is such a thing as a cold flash, like as in the opposite of a hot flash. I woke up in the middle of the night the other night freezing to the point where I was really shaking. I thought for sure the window had been left open but it wasn't. I went downstairs to turn the heat on but it was reading 72 degrees in the house. I grabbed my little dog because I thought he would be cold too, but apparently it was just me. I put a bunch of clothes on and then an hour later woke up sweating and took them all off. It was really wierd, I wonder if this has ever happened to anyone else?

That's me last night too. I was shivering for like 2-3 mins than I'm fine.

I read it's because your hormone.

I had "cold flashes" nightly in the first trimester.  I'd literally be shaking and my bones would hurt because I felt so cold.  The only way I could warm up was to have my fiance hold me until I stopped shaking.  The dr said it was the hormone changes and thankfully, I haven't had them in a while.

Oh wow, I had no idea this was a real thing. Thanks now I don't feel so weird!
