water breaking or discharge?

How do you tell the difference between your water breaking and a gush of discharge?  I'm really leaky (sorry TMI) and I"m kinda worried I won't know the difference when it happens!

When my water broke, there was no stopping it.  I'd do a Kegel squeeze but that just made more fluid come out.  Also, when your water breaks it doesn't really have a smell to it.

When mine broke with DD1, it would come in small gushes. When it first happened I was going pee, so when I had emptied my bladder and more liquid kept coming I knew something was up.

If it helps any, lately I have had a real watery discharge, but IMO it is nothing like what comes out when your water breaks.

when my water broke it actually took me a few hours to figure out for the same reason. I felt a small gush but it kinda felt like I had extra discharge. The one difference was the smell and there was a little blood in it. Also it kept happening. If you really can't tell, put on a pad and lay down for at least 15 minutes. If you feel another gush when you stand back up, chances are your water broke.
