Who's with me? I read somewhere once about buying dishes at the dollar store just so you could get the anger release of smashing them. But then of course, I'd have to clean it up... Might be worth it though.
You know, if you had something to break them in you wouldn't have to clean anything up!! Maybe an empty garbage can in the garage? Something shallow to keep on the cement floor? A cardboard box would probably work really great too! Or how about just a tarp? You'd still get the satisfaction of the breaking with the noise and everything, but it would be semi-contained. Hmm...we have a dollar store in town....Where there's a will, there's a way!

Whenever I need a stress relief I always go to the range. Either shooting clay pigeons or just the targets it just makes you feel better.
This. I'm in the south and we shoot stuff, y'all!

Sorry you're feeling the need to break something! I've also heard the same thing, but like you, I am not so sure I'd want to clean it up! Maybe I'd throw it in a trash can to break.... lined with a trash bag

This is a great idea, you can rage with responsibility lol! I totally understand, you could come to my house my dishes are ridiculously breakable, I accidentally break one at a rate of about 2 or 3 a month. DH says I am just an aggressive dishwasher

This made me chuckle a little. Did it work?
feels good in the moment but then I had to sweep up broken dishes.

Thanks for the idea ladies. We own 3 guns and its been a while since I hit the range. Besides getting some aggression out, DH will be pleased to do something he enjoys

Okay this is going to sound incredibly dumb, but try throwing bread. Yes, bread. One. Slice. At. A. Time. You can throw it at anything you want and it won't break anything. You can even throw it at your partner and it won't hurt. Plus, once you pick up the pieces, you only have to run the vacuum cleaner. No glass shards to worry about. Another plus is an entire loaf of bread is $1 at Kroger and you have 20-25 things to throw.
My grandmother used to throw bread at my grandfather when she would get pissed at him because she didn't want to break her dishes and she really didn't want to hurt him, even if she was furious. I've tried it and it's oddly satisfying.
Oh my gosh I just laughed out loud at this, that sounds crazy fun!

OMG, between this and daylight's panda gifs, I am making guppy sounds at my desk trying to stifle laughter. I can just picture DH's face as I chuck a slice of bread at him.
