Ugh! It was GREAT when the babies were in infant carseats. It was so compact and folded up so nicely to store in my minivan. But now the babies are in convertible carseats so we are using the regular seats and the stroller is SO LONG!! I put the seats on so the babies face each other and that's when it is crazy long. Then I put them both facing out and while it is shorter that way, the baby in the front's seat blocks the baby in the back's legs and pretty much her whole body. I don't think it bothers the one in the back... yet. I put Fiona in the back because she is smaller but I'm wondering how much longer she will be ok with Anna laying back on her. I wish I had gone with my original plan - DSNG for when the babies were in infant seats and then the City Mini Double for after. I didn't get the DSNG because it was so long with the infant seats but I wish I had realized we'd only need it for a short time. Now I don't know what to do.

PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
Our crazy, wonderful life
If it's in really good condition, you can probably make back most of what you spent by selling on CL.
I find it's shortest with seats facing each other. I still love it at 18 months - it's the stroller I keep in my car and use for shopping because of the large basket.
:lurking:
Mine are 16 months apart and when I had him in the infant carseat it was great but with two toddlers I find myself using it as a single with the glider board because the person sitting in back will kick the front seat in the back the entire time or grab the front persons hair. I also couldn't change a diaper in this stroller.
We got the city mini double GT elite. It's more rugged for outdoors, comes with a great patent consol (6 potential cup holders) and adjustable handle bar. Kids also nap like a dream in this and with all the mesh/peekaboo windows they don't feel like they are in a cave.. The cons: the basket sucks.....and pretty much useless!! They can still reach over and kick each other or hit each other if they sit up and make the effort but not as bad as the City select. It also weighs almost 45 pounds so it takes a good heave to get it in the car but I'm only 5'1" and about 120 and do it. Also takes up 90% of my trunk space!
