AW post: My family doc is awesome!

So I developed an ear infection on Friday and had a fever and no energy over the weekend. I went in to my family doc's office (haven't been there since my initial bloodwork to determine PG). She came into the room and immediately said she was sorry for my loss and asked me how I was doing. Then she went on to tell me that she's had 2 m/cs and then 3 healthy children (2 are twins). She also said that my DH and I will make wonderful parents and encouraged me to try again soon if I was ready.

No point to this post other than to brag about what an awesome family doc I have .

P.S. There are plenty of negative things going on around me but I'm only focusing on the positives today. I hope you're all having a great day.

Yes. Or even worse than saying dumb things.. ignoring it and pretending it never happened.

That is seriously so great, I love it when doctors are tuned into their patients for both physical and emotional health!

I am glad that you had a positive experience at the doctors office. I haven't seen my family doctor since right after my 2nd loss. The doctor that I have seen since is a little short, maybe that's why he has openings. I wish my OB could treat everything, he is amazing.
