I'm new to this board. We are TTC and nothing's happened over the last 4 months we've been trying, so I'm refocusing on getting healthier.
I have about 40-50 lbs to lose and would someday like to run a 5K (within the year, maybe?). I am looking into personal training (I did it before about 10 years ago and was really successful) and bought some good tennis shoes and inserts yesterday. I'll also be reevaluating my diet.
I'm going to try to lose a little weight before starting on the running - I have an old knee issue from high school and mild asthma issues. So, I figured I'll try to lose 10-20 lbs before picking up on the 5k training. I'll probably start with some other cardio (elliptical, exercise bike) and weights first.
Anyhoo, just wanted to introduce myself. I may have some beginner workout questions for you ladies!
