Chicco car seat users (past+present) come in please!

We have the Chicco Keyfit 30 that we used for our daughter, now expecting twins so just going to pick up another one. Now onto deciding what stroller(s?) to get...

If you have Chicco carseats with twins, what stroller did you choose? How much did you pay? Would you pick the same one again if you had a do-over?

  • We got the Chicco Cortina Together and have been very happy with it. It worked great with the Keyfits, and we still use it regularly.

  • We have the Chicco Cortina together, haven't used it yet other than putting the carseats on it, and rolling it around the house. We plan to use that while they are still in infant seats, then look for a side by side option.
  • We have the DSNG that we use when we're out and the City Mini Double that we use for walks around the neighborhood and will use when we're out once they are in their convertible seats. I am happy with our choice. The DSNG is lightweight and convenient.

  • We have the DSNG and really like it. I was looking for a used one, but didn't find one at the time. It was about $100. We just bought a City Mini GT and am really happy with that. My girls are 4 months, so we only have used that for walks in neighborhood. I wouldn't have changed what we did. The DSNG is not the most agile of strollers, but it is super light and easy to set up and close.

  • We just put together the Baby Trend Double SNG and have both car seats in it. It seems to work well without babies and was pretty easy to put together. It costs about $90 retail, but you can usually find a used one much cheaper. Check your local MoMs groups.

With my son we used the BJCS and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. It's a smooth ride. It can accomodate two seats, but can also be a single stroller. We plan on using the glider board for my oldest once the babies are here. I think you can find it on Albeebaby.com for a good price. The older model is cheaper and I think the changes to the new model were very minimal.

  • We're using our Keyfits with the BJCS and car seat adapters. I wanted one stroller to rule them all instead of a DSNG and then another double when they grow. We love it.

  • We used the DSNG at first, and I wish we could still use it! I would recommend that at first. It's cheap and so easy and light to use!

We now have a couple different strollers, but out Joovy Caboose Triple Sit and Stand is the only one we have that could accommodate both infant seats. I got it when the girls were about 6 months and already out of the Chiccos. I think I would've worked great though and I wish I would've gotten it sooner. I think it's around $400, give or take some. I don't know how old your oldest is, but my DD is 4.5 and she actually likes riding on the back. I like it too because I always know where she is and I don't have to keep telling her to hurry up! This stroller is heavy though, but once you get a system, it's not so bad. It is kinda hard to steer with all 3 kids in it, so it's really only good for the mall, etc.

  • We did the DSNG in the beginning and now use the Joovy Scooter X2.  It's a light weight side by side.  I prefer it waaaay more han the super long tandem stroller.

  • I used a DSNG. I alsa have a valco trimode with a jump seat.  I highly suggest it. Looks like we have the same family set up, first a girl, then twin boys. My daughter was 16 months old when my boys were born. The Valco was and still is a lifesaver. My daughter is 3.5 now and still loves the "princess seat".
