DO you like them?? Right now, I'm using prefolds and covers. I have 2 Bestbottoms, and some inserts, but they don't work great with the EBF poo. I have 1 pocket that I got free. Daycare has said they'll use prefolds, but I'm not sure if they may want lots of covers, so I'm looking into still getting some pockets or something of the sort. Right now, Flips are buy2 get one free at Nickisdiapers, so I'm thinking of getting some.

How many inserts should I get? Do you like them? I think I've used them on a kid in the church nursery before, but I'd love some real life opinions before I spend the $ (so DH doesn't kill me)

I really like them, but I wouldn't get them for DC.  In our state, a DC is required to change the entire diaper (insert and cover) every 2 hours.  You could get some to use at home, but I'd recommend taking advantage of the BG B5G1 sale.  I'm not sure if the coupon code that'd allow you to B5G2 free is still active, but you could check!  Someone posted on the board about it yesterday.

I really like mine.  I've had no leaks with them.  They are also my night time diaper.  I use them with GMD prefolds during the day and Flips Organic Inserts at night.

I wouldn't get them for daycare. Our dc was willing to use whatever, and we sent fitteds for a while. They didn't change the cover every time (per my request), which meant wicking on the gussets. If I had had them change the cover with every change it would have meant so many covers. So we just got pockets in the end.

I LOVE my flips! My mom keeps DS and loves the ease of them. One cover can last all day sometimes. My Bummis and thirsts leak...all the time...but my flips never have! I have four and just purchased the Nicki's deal...

Coming out of a 6-month Bump hiatus to say I love my Flips! They're the only diapers that have never, ever leaked, and I have FB, BG, Blueberries, TT, and Softbums. I'm a WAHM though so can't speak to the DC question. Bought 2 packs with 3 inserts per cover and that's generally how I like to use them, but I'm sure I could get away with spacing it out even more if I used PFs. Lately since we've started solids I've added flushable liners and that really makes cleanup a cinch. Love them.

I love Flips but agree that pockets would be easier for DC. I think Flips (and other similar AI2s) are better once babies are older and on solids.
