Well, our walk went really well. We raised $4,000 for the March of Dimes! I can't believe how much money we raised in about a month. We were #2 in the county for funds raised.
It was definitely an emotional day; I was tearing up on the way there. They had a moment of silence during the opening ceremony for all the babies who didn't make it, and I totally started crying. It was heartbreaking to see some of the angel babies names on all the shirts, the quilt squares that were decorated in their memory, etc. And it was a little hard to hear the miracle stories about babies born just a few weeks later than Nathaniel, who are now growing and thriving.
But overall it was a good day and a positive experience. It was nice to share our experience w/ people IRL, in public. AND I got to see stluciawife! We took a pic, I'll post it when I have a chance to get it into the computer.
