TTC After a Loss

Stalk my chart

Do you think this means that My hormones are "regulated" or something? I've never had a chart look like this before. I checked my thermometer battery also and it's not that. I'm hoping it's a good sign maybe that acupuncture is working.

Re: Stalk my chart

  • I don't have any experience with charting (may need to start soon) but I did accupuncture a few years ago and it helped regulate my cycles. They had been all over the board and after a month or so of treatments, it was back to 28 days on the nose and stayed that way for quite a while. I was hoping it would help me ovulate consistently and it didn't do that, but I didn't stick with it either.

I may try it again here soon.

    Good luck!

I have no idea, but if that's the cause that is very interesting!  Hopefully this is a sign that the acupuncture is working!

I believe you can search the FF chart gallery for charts of women using acupuncture, it might be worth doing a search or two and seeing if some of them had flat-ish temps after O.

Thats a good idea! I'll try to search  :)

  • What kind of BBT are you using? I used to use the BD brand and had something similar to this happen. Now I use the Mabis brand and it goes to the hundredth degree, which isn't necessary for detecting a rise, but is easier to diagnose favorite temps, since it's a lot more unlikely to get the exact temp to the hundredth degree over and over again.

It also could be the acu, but I do acu and my temps aren't nearly that tidy. I'd suspect thermometer issues first, personally.

  • My BFP chart from my loss looks exactly like yours (in my ff link). After too many of the same temps, I did have to get a new therm. I had been using the pink one from amazon when it happened. FX for you!

I actually just did the search myself and saw several charts with a similar temp pattern to your current one.  Eeeeeenteresting.
Thanks for checking dc. I am not able to search on my phone but I'm gonna take a look when I get home later.

I use bd brand but I have taken my temp after and it goes up. I've checked it a bunch of times and it's definitely not stuck but maybe I'll get a new one today and see what happens
