UUUUGGGGHHHH Not ttcal related

So I am bumping from the hospital- I am not the patient- My husband is- hes been complaining of pain in his appendix area for days---- well it finally got to the breaking point today- so we went to the ER- sure enough- appendicitis--- surgery scheduled for tonight- been waiting and waiting and waiting for Dr to tell me how everything went- they told me 30 min to 1 1/2 depending on severity- well 2 1/2 hours later the Dr FINALLY came out---- told me DH is in recovery and stable- but said it was an extremely long and rough surgery- that it was the worst case he has seen in a long time- gangrenous and very hard to remove appendix.  Lots of bleeding and had a hard time stopping bleeding--- ugh- does life ever throw something good at a person???? Anyway- he said that this has been going on quite awhile to be this bad.,... AND he said no work for DH for a couple weeks-- yeah like DH will listen to that one... Thanks for listening- I am just trying to stay awake while I wait until my DH is out of recovery and into his room so I can see him....

    TTC since 4/28/07
    Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
    BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
    Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.

    June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!

    Ohh MY!  Glad everything went well with his surgery...Im guessing he will be on antibiotics for a little while. Try to take care of yourself too..not just DH!

    Yikes- that is a lot to take in.  It does sometimes feel like the universe doesn't remember to spread the crises around.   Glad DH is through the surgery and hoping that his recovery is uneventful.  ((Hugs))

    Wow...I wish his a quick recovery. Hopefully he follows doctors orders.

    BFP #3 01/05/13 EDD 09/17/13 u/s 1/24/13-great appt, measuring 2 days ahead, NT scan 3/11/13-great scan measuring 4 days ahead, A/S 4/29/13-another great scan can't wait to meet my baby BOY!!!!!

    I'm so sorry. Sending you both tons of prayers for a fast recovery. Life will throw you something good eventually, and the good things are worth the wait. Try and stay positive, I know it is very hard to watch DH be in pain.
