favor ideas needed

We're having a work shower for a mom to be at my school and I've been assigned favors.   I need to make 100 favors so I'm on a pretty tight budget.    In a perfect world, I would like to stay under $50.   Normally 2 or 3 people do the favors together but for this shower, I'm on my own.   

Favors normally are edible.   They are going with a zoo animal theme for the shower.   Favors don't need to be exactly animal themed.   i cna stick an animal themed tag on whatever the favor is.   

 Any suggestions?

I would do something with animal crackers.  Get a few bags of the iced or frosted kind and put some in little boxes/bags with cute ribbon.  Voila.  Cheap, cute, and yummy.  I don't know how much the individual boxes of animal crackers are but you could go that route, too.

You could also pick up some chocolate molds and do individual chocolate lollipops in the shape of zoo animals.  That's just more work.

Cookies!  Frankly, for 100 people, I'd bake a bunch of chocolate chip cookies, stick them in bags with animal tags or other decorations, and call it a day.  That's a lot of work and you're very kind to do this.

Animal cookies (plain, frosted, chocolate) in bags with a cute tag. Or if you are into baking perhaps making sugar cookies in animal shapes and decorating them. Or even a fun carnival/zoo trail mix would be fun and inexpensive. I agree pinterest is a good place to look for ideas. I also have a small obsession with popcorn balls and think they are a fun and different favor.
