So I took the RNP in and the NP and our pedi (came by the nicu to see the boys) both said they were fine if we were awake and the boys are in them, but they wouldn't recommend them for night sleeping. They both admitted that they hadnt seen one before.
Then the nurse that discharged us said that she had just visited a couple who had twins in the NICU and they were using them and she thought they were the best thing ever. She said she wont tell us its ok to use them so not to say she did, but that this other family loved them.
I bought a couple summer infant co sleepers. One of the twins came home today and we will test it out tonight. I'm sure we will end up putting them in the rnp at some point!
Re: Update on the NICU and RNPs
Interesting! Thanks for sharing that -
and hello?! one of your babies came home?? that's huge and you snuck it in right at the end. Congratulations!!! Happy first night at home. I know it isn't over yet because you still have one in NICU but I hope the light is at the end.
