Our LC appt today was great! DD gained just over an ounce a day in the last week and our LC was totally comfortable with us trying to go bottle-free (or close to it) until we go in for our 2-month check next week. It feels so good to have turned the corner! I will still be pumping a few times per day until DD is more solid in her BFing skills.
I really appreciate your story on the preemie blog. It gave me some hope that NICU babies can learn to breastfeed!
