Until my MIL leaves! I am almost there!

She is a nice lady, and I am glad she has been here to visit SO and DD, but I have to be honest that I am looking forward to it just being the 3 of us soon. She has been here for 2 weeks and it hasn't been all that easy for me...she has ZERO sense of privacy (yesterday while I was out she decided to sort through and organize my sock/underwear drawers - no lie) and she and I have a friendly/polite relationship - but we talk very little. Plus she spoils SO like crazy, which bugs me cause I know he's going to be lazier than ever when she leaves...all of my training gone to waste!

Anyways, I think I deserve a gold star for being such a tolerant DIL and putting on my happy face for 2 whole weeks!

My MIL & FIL live and travel all year in their RV. We don't see them during the winter, fall, and spring.  Each year they come for the summer to stay near us.  They will be here ALL summer staying about 15 miles from us from June til Sept...I already told my DH that we can't see them ALL the time but will about once a week or every two weeks.  I have to have family time with my 2 guys alone also.  Every weekend can't be g & g plus us weekend.  I know it will end up that way...I love them!  They are great but sometimes I need me time and Mommy and me time in addition to Daddy, Mommy, and me time.  It gets really anxiety-ridden if I don't get alone time for me.  Good job in lasting two weeks with her staying at your house.  I know that would be hard!  And weird...her sorting your private drawers.  I would have to think twice about leaving her alone in my house because we hide some VERY private stuff in ours!

Ditto.  We don't even allow anyone in our bedroom!
