Can we use nose spray?

The inside of my nose is stinking dry it's uncomfortable. A nose bleed is going to happen very soon. Can I use a saline nose spray?

Re: Can we use nose spray?

  • I don't see why not... But I haven't asked about it specifically...

  • Saline nasal spray is ok, it's just fancy saltwater.  My doc advises staying away from decongestant and antihistimine type nasal sprays though.   You may want to just put a little vaseline on a q-tip and put it up there before you go to bed at night to keep things lubricated.

  • I've had MAJOR nosebleed issues since finding out I was expecting. My doctor actually gave me saline nose spray the last time I was there, as well as a gell to put inside my nose when I feel it getting really dry. I'd say if the doc gave me the saline spray, then you're fine to use it! Hope your nose feels better! :)
