Help! I need my butt kicked in gear!

Tomorrow is Emma's party and there's still lots on the to-do list, not even including food prep, and I'm absolutely burnt out! I think every possible appointment in the world has fallen in the last two weeks, plus a huge event at church that I helped 2 other ladies plan, and then cleaning the entire house of top of it - I'm just plain exhausted! Yesterday I was so excited to be having the party here because our house hasn't looked this great since we moved in and DH has been doing lots of odd jobs that have been sitting around for years but now I just want to quit and bump all day! Doesn't help that I've been puking all week either. Maybe a cup of coffee will get me moving...I hate coffee! At least I've got a load of laundry going. Guess I'll have to push through, thanks for the little vent.

  • Wow!  A party is a huge undertaking without being pregnant!  Hang in there -- you're almost to the finish line!  Take a little break at the end of every project, or set the timer for half an hour and then have some playtime with Emma or a little bump time.  Tackle it in spurts...you're almost there!

  • Avery's is next week and I've done NOTHING!  I will probably be in your shoes next Friday.  But I'm sure everything will be fine.  At the end of the day, everyone is there to see your beautiful baby turn one!  Don't burn yourself out too much.  Hope its a great day - please post pics!

  • Thanks for the little spurts suggestion. It has helped a lot. I've also just started crossing things off like mad that just aren't going to happen and that makes me feel a lot better too Smile
