I've been giving Julia egg yolks every once in a while, but I'm thinking that we need to go ahead and do the whole egg. Is anyone still doing Egg yolks only? Or are most of you doing whole eggs?

We started giving V whole eggs around 8 months. When we told the pedi this at the 9 month appointment he looked at us in horror, hahaha, but he had no reactions and LOVES scrambled and hard boiled eggs.
ETA: he loves them so much we actually have a song we made up about Saturday morning eggs and toast.
We just started with the whole egg. If there's a real allergy I think you would know. Its pretty tough to really separate all of the yolk from the white.
We've been doing the whole egg for a few months. We don't have an allergies in our family, and he hasn't shown any sensitivity (yet) so I had no reason to worry.
We've been giving her egg yolks for a couple of weeks, but she still makes a horrible face like we're feeding her dirt and she won't eat more than a bite. Maybe she'd like it better if she had the whole egg. We've also only ever given them to her hard boiled and sliced....probably should try scrambling them. I don't like eggs, myself, but I'm trying to get her to not be a picky eater so DH makes them for her and tries to get her to eat them like he does.

Try making her french toast! DD loves it! I bet it would help your LO get used to the egg taste.

That's a great idea... thanks! I actually really like french toast even though I don't care for plain eggs, so maybe she will too.

We're doing whole eggs. The first time I gave whole eggs and then remembered it's "supposed" to be yolks only and started freaking out. However, we don't have any allergies in our families so I went back to whole eggs, starting with meatballs, pancakes, etc. and will give scrambled eggs on weekends. No issues here!

We've always done the whole egg. DD eats them scrambled
We've been doing whole eggs since 9 months.
Pedi recommended it because of the new research about early exposure to allergens being better or no worse than later exposure.
