TTC After a Loss

Vent: Waiting for bleeding to stop

I need to stop bleeding. So I can start bleeding. Can't get my fibroid surgery done until AF comes. The waiting is the worst part. Vent over!

Re: Vent: Waiting for bleeding to stop

  • I feel the same way... Need to stop bleeding so I can start bleeding! I've been bleeding for a week and a half from m/c. FX your process speeds up a little so you can wait less to move forward!

  • Loading the player...
  • I totally posted this about a week or so ago.  I took my cytotec April 28th to induce my miscarriage and I'm still bleeding enough to need a pad a few times a day.  My beta levels were down to 16 this week so she thinks it should stop "soon."
    It's SOO frustrating!
Hopefully things slow down for you soon and you can get on with the process.  Good luck!

  • Thank you ladies! I got my baseline HCG done yesterday (not even sure I want to know the results, it might depress me if it's still really high). I get another one on the 29th, hopefully it will be down a lot by then.

Boots, I recognize you from the Oct 2012 birth club - I am so sorry for your loss and I'm just devastated for you. You've been through hell and my heart goes out to you.

My loss was much earlier than yours, but I had about a week of bleeding and it took about 6 weeks for my HCG levels to drop to below 5.

Married 2/15/09, BFP #1 02/03/12 - EDD 10/13/12, Missed M/C 03/15/12@9w5d (measuring 8w3d) They weren't kidding when they said "Beware the Ides of March" Image and video hosting by TinyPic BFP#2 06/13/12 - Emily Samantha born on Feb 9, 2013!
  • Im sorry you are dealing with that. I recently had a very early m/c and I was bleeding for almost a whole month till it finally stopped about 2 weeks ago. It was so frustrating.  You just want it to stop so you can begin to move forward, believe my I totally understand how frustrating it can be.  I am now waiting for AF to show up but its all more waiting.
