Awesome! Such a small world. I went back for an additional degree there and graduated in '08. So you and I were there at the same time! I lived in Charles Village and took the Hopkins bus to the medical campus. I worked at the rec center if you ever went there. Awesome place. Memories!
Also, Cass, while you are here, I was going to ask you yesterday...when can I start giving my two year old regular toothpaste? We brush regularly but her teeth just look kind of...funky. Lol. I think she would get the concept of spitting it out.
Wow another Hopkins alum! I did undergrad there and graduated in 05. I was mainly on Homewood campus but I majored in public health so my last semester was at SPH a lot. I lived in the Marylander my Jr and Sr year (semi creepy building!). Where'd you ladies live? Vigurl - Did you do undergrad there? I'm sure we crossed paths at some point since we were there for 2 years together. Small world - I never meet Hopkins people anywhere else!

Yes definitely by two! Use a smear first until she gets the concept of spitting fully and then you can use a pea sized amount. I'd try a kids toothpaste since those flanked are generally milder and kids like them better. But anything with fluoride is fine! HTH!

Yes I was undergrad at Homewood too. My major was Business so I was over on the SPSBE side most often...now they are calling it Carey.
I lived off campus the entire time. All those darn buildings were creepy. I was so happy when they moved the bookstore over to the nice new B&N. They really started doing a lot of construction around the time we all left.
I totally agree. I told DH last night can you believe there are not one but TWO Hopkins people on the June board?! DH did not share my excitement LOL.

Ah then our paths probably never crossed. I have driven by the medical campus seeral times but I have never even been in a single building on it to tell you the truth. And rec center....nope... I hate to work out. But yes I totally agree. Great learning enviorment. The area around Homewood...ehhh not so great. LOL

The area around the medical campus was the true creepy lol. Most campus policemen per capita in the US. But such a cool place! I also told DH about my excitement but he just laughed at me.
Oh yes, I lived in a fairly new apt complex across the street from the Paper Moon diner, down by Dizzy's and Charm City Cakes.
I LOVE Paper Moon! Sure it was weird but the food was awesome and you could go there late They were actually featured on a show on Food Network once! And Dizzy's was good too but I thought it closed down?

Agreed, so yummy! I liked looking at all the stuff too. Well Dizzy's was still there when I left. Best burgers around!

I wasn't there for the B&N - that used to be the Ivy apartments which were nice on campus housing. But when I went back, I did get to see the B&N which is beautiful! I lived in Wolman my first year which wasn't so bad and then I moved to the Phi Mu house (which I think was torn down too) my sophomore year. I was so mad they put a Chipotle in after I left! I didn't know many business people I don't think but the school was so small, I'm sure we know people in common!
