dreams where you're PG or have a LO? (dream LOs mentioned)

I've had 2 dreams in the last week where I either had an LO or I was PG.

Last weekend, in my dream, had an LO who was I think a boy (I say this because "he" was in a bluey-aqua romper and I just had a "boy" feeling about "him") and we were outside and I was getting him out of his carseat and it was spring or summer. It was so "normal" in the dream, almost every day.

Last night then I dreamed that I was PG, like full-on-big-belly PG and I was so excited because "it was going to be for real this time" (meaning, it wasn't going to be another loss.) Which is ironic, because it was after all, a dream.

The only time I've had dreams where I'm PG was when I was actually PG before. I also had some nightmare PG dreams then too. And I'm not suggesting any mystical PG-ness or anything or that I am PG, because clearly no, I'm not. I just think it's interesting/weird. It also makes me feel hopeful in some way, knowing that my subconscious is hopeful.

ever since i was in high school and not even thinking into my future i've had dreams that i'm a mother of twins - boy and a girl. in every dream i have the boys in my arms while the girl is either in a stroller or somebody else's arms. i keep an eye on my girl but i'm very protective of my baby boy because he's sick or something.

the day we found out we would have to go through IVF my DH said we have to transfer two and see if my dream of 10+ years comes true.

I've had a couple in the last month or so. One of them was very strange in that I was in labor and pushing, then all of a sudden I was outside the delivery room, my normal sized body and a surrogate mother brought me my baby.

Another dream was much like your first one, I was playing with my baby like it was a normal occurence. I don't remember gender or anything else really, just that I had a very normal life surrounding my baby.

They also make me hopeful, like it's a glance to what my life really will be like one day.

I very rarely have dreams that I'm pregnant.  I had one not too long ago.  I was trying to use a doppler, but couldn't find the heartbeat.  I knew that it was too early so I wasn't concerned and I remembered that I had seen the baby in the right spot with a heartbeat on an ultrasound.  It was a peaceful carefree dream...basically the complete opposite of my TTC journey to date.

That's exactly what I think. It's like I wouldn't (or shouldn't) have to worry if it'll ever happen, if a pregnancy will go the distance, if there will be any speed bumps in the pregnancy, if the baby will turn out just fine, if delivery is good. All these things I will forever have in my thoughts should just melt away so I can focus on the good that may come, but it's just not that way.

Just last week I dreamt that we adopted a little girl that was around age five. DH and I haven't talked much about adopting quite yet, let alone an older child, and it isn't something I have given much thought myself. In this dream our beautiful adopted daughter was wearing a white dress, and she had blonde hair. Incredibly vivid! She ran over to me, hugged me and called me Mommy. I woke up with the most amazing feeling, and it actually got me thinking about considering older children if we decide to adopt.

A few months ago I had a dream that I POAS and actually got a positive test for the first time. It was incredibly vivid! I felt so excited to tell DH! We were crying with joy, and it was everything I have been fantasizing about since starting TTC. I woke up, realized it was not real, and wanted to cry.

I dreamed that I had twins years ago, way before TTC or finding out about our IF. It was vivid and real and it stuck with me. If felt very real somehow. I've wondered if it could be a glimpse into the future, but I figured not since twins do not run in our families. Fast forward a few years and my SIL said that she had a very vivid dream that me and DH were in and we had twins (also before she knew about our IF). 

Now that we are doing IVF, I still wonder if twins are to be part of our future.

 

I haven't had the twins dream in a long time. The most recent dream I had about being a mother I left the baby in a high chair at McDonalds. Not very encouraging...
