My baby is turning FOUR tomorrow!

I'll most likely be out and about most of the day tomorrow, so need to post this now. I am minutes away from logging off and starting to bake cupcakes (it's almost 7pm here).

Holy craaap, where has time gone? I have been chatting with the AP ladies for almost as long as DD has been alive (the board was created shortly after she was born, I think). DD has now been weaned from the breast for almost as long as she was nursing (25 months). I officially retired my Ergo about a year ago and had used it only rarely in the six months or so before that. I am starting to get hazy on things like starting solids and STTN and all that jazz, yet here I still am on the boards.

Anyway, DD's birthday is of course all about her, but I always consider it a personal anniversary of sorts.

More or less. I don't think she completely believes us that they won't magically be here when she wakes up in the morning.

Happy birthday Amalia. I can't beleive she is 4! Harper was about 16mos when I came out of lurkdom and I always enjoyed your updates because they warned me of the things to come (good and challenging). I remember your weaning posts like yesterday.

Congrats on 4 years of being a mom. I hope 4 is awesome for you both.

Happy birthday Amalia & congrats to you mama. Birthdays are always bittersweet for me. Ari will be 3 in a few weeks & I can barely wrap my brain around it. Amalia is growing up to be a gorgeous little lady though!
