OK... this may be a bit silly and a FTM worry.
Last night I went to dinner with my girlfriends. Two of them ordered Tilapia. Right after my friend had the first bite of her dinner, she asked if I wanted to try. I went to cut her tilapia and noticed that it was kind of rubbery as I was cutting it (thought it was weird but didn't think too much of it), took a bite and it tasted off. White fish is supposed to be flaky. She skeptically had a few more bites and then we all realized that both the ladies had really undercooked tilapia! This was at a very nice restaurant too. Very unexpected. Anyway, I wasn't too worried about the one bite that I had but she said that she felt sick last night and this morning. So now I'm just a little concerned about the bite of, basically, raw tilapia that I had last night. Especially with my MC history.. just freaks me out! Tilapia is not a sushi grade fish. If it was some quality sushi, I wouldn't be worried.
I'm OK right? I'm just being crazy? Eating raw tilapia is just gross anyway
Re: Raw Tilapia
I think if you had something to worry about, you would know about it by now!
My husband had food poisoning last night (so much for trying new restaurants!). We ordered two totally different things but I felt a little sickly last night as well. I'm 100% sure it was just sympathy/paranoia pains.
