Hi Girls! I am continuously stalking you guys and it gives me hope that I will be here one day too! Congrats to you all!
I have a question. Did any of you get pregnant without EWCM? I have creamy CM around O time and I have tried different things to thin it out and nothing has worked.
I have been tested and all of the tests are normal...DH too.
I got pregnant with my son on the first cycle after a MC so this "trying" thing is new to me...well not now b/c it's cycle 7. Anyway, just lookng for any experience with no EWCM/creamy CM but still gettting pregnant.
Thanks for listening!
Re: TTC over 35 lady looking for hope
I'm sorry for your struggle. I am 40 and don't produce the CM I used to in my younger days. The cycle I got pg, I tried something called FertileCM
https://makeababy.ca/fertilecm-cervical-mucus-enhancer.html
It seemed to help me produce more watery and EWCM and I got my BFP the first month using it. Might be worth checking out. Oh and I know you can get this in the US, so you might find it on some other US websites, rather than this canadian one.
I never paid all that much attention to my CM. I do have some, and it varies between various textures, but I didn't worry too much about it. I read a study recently (unfortunately, I don't know where!) which said that texture of CM is not so important as the fact that you have any at all. I have also heard that using PreSeed during sex helps provide a mucousy surface for the sperm to travel along to their destination.
Best of luck to you from another well-over-35-er .
I got pregnant at 37 w no ewcm. I totally understand your concern, I used to get ewcm all the time when I was younger, but then it became creamy only. The cycle I got pregnant I used mucinex to thin out the cm, and was drinking tons of water and Pom juice too. No idea how much of a role that played.
Eta: I just remembered I was also taking fertile cm and we tried preseed that cycle too. I went a little nuts . . .
Yes I never had ewcm. The most fertile I had was watery and not even that much of it. I still managed to get pg several times so I guess it doesn't matter that much. Last couple cycles I did use preseed so maybe you should give that a try if you haven't.
BFP #1 - missed m/c 4.18.11 found @8w3d, d&c @13w
BFP #2 blighted ovum found 8.2011 @8w, misoprostol
BFP#3 - missed m/c 6.11.12 @ 9w3d, d&c revealed extra chromosome 15
BFP#4 8.10.12, DD born 4/26/13
I didn't pay attention on EWCM too.
But I used ovulation test every other day. I had an irregular period.
You can buy ovulation test in ebay, no need a fancy one.
Good luck.

Thanks so much for all of the responses!
You guys are great!
Mucinex didn't help. I use Preseed so we'll see!
For us, we went to GYN to look into infertility options because we'd been trying for a while w/o success. They told us to start temping (and I used fertilityfriend dot com) every day at the same time every day and mark everything (meds, moods, period, cramp, bloat, moody) and I did. I had blood drawn and they ran tons of tests on all kinds of stuff. The lab was really slow to get my results back (a month!) and the doc finally called and said they were going to go ahead and send me out to a fertility specialist because my labs showed that I was pretty much not going to get pregnant w/o some hardcore help.
Well after I hung up the phone I told my DH about my infertility and we laughed because I'd already gotten a BFP 2 weeks prior to the phone call telling me I'm nearly infertile.
We are now 10 weeks, no meds, no help, just nature and the right time!
