I have been very satisfied with my level of care, but I do feel like they nickel and dime me sometimes. I paid for a multi-cycle package so I had one flat fee that covered all of my IVF treatments. Today, I went in for beta #2 and they charged me a $30 co-pay. When I protested they told me that beta #1 was included in flat fee, but not #2 and #3. What the heck is that about? Don't I need #2 and #3 to determine how well the treatment worked? I am so annoyed about that.

Good luck to you too. Where are you posting your number? I am more nervous today than I was for beta #1. I'm a worrier though and this is my first time ever, ever being even a tiny bit pregnant so I'm on pins and needles that all is well in there.

I just got it and it's good! I'll be posting it in a little bit over on PAIF and intro-ing there, fx for a great number for you!
I sometimes feel that way but I guess that's what happens when you are OOP. I do feel like that always make sure i know what I am going to owe before hand.. for example my IVF package covers 2 betas. GL!!
My IVF financial advisor was very clear that once you're pregnant, nothing is covered by the IVF payment anymore. Everything at that point goes through insurance, so yes, copays apply.
If they were going to include the 2nd beta, they would add $ to the package price. Since not everyone needs a 2nd beta, and insurance often covers that, it doesn't make sense to include it. I would gladly pay for a 2nd beta without complaint if I needed one.
