Same here! It always takes a party for us to get the house looking good.
I have a few things left on my cleaning list, food to buy and prep tomorrow (luckily I have the day off), and then the party is on Saturday!
I was in full party planning mode this past week. At the same time though I didn't have much to prepare like it sounds all of you do. We're having the party on Saturday at a local pizza place. I did order her outfit and shoes, and high chair banner last week and got them all this week. I order the cake and her cupcake last week. I made the reservation at the pizza parlor last week. On Monday I went and picked up all the balloons, cake plates, and napkins. I do need to buy some forks and I have to get the balloons inflated Saturday morning as well as pick up the cakes. Since we are eating at the pizza place I don't have to worry about all of the food stuff
I really wanted to get her a pinata, but we don't have a backyard
My stressful has completely gone away now that everything has gotten taken care of. I can't wait for Saturday!
