More Updates: It never ends

I'm at the ER today, I saw my OB and she thinks I have retained products of conception. Might need another D&E. Why is this nightmare not ending? 

Update - My husband is a hero, he got me in to see my fertility specialist OB who is awesome. She said she could do an ultrasound later today and see what's going on (I got sent to the hospital because my stupid OB's office had their u/s tech out sick and not one doctor there could do an u/s. really?) She said do NOT stay at the ER, come to her office instead. Heading there in half an hour. I hope she has some better news. I feel better being under her care than my regular OB, lots of stories about how sh!tty my care has been with them, that's for another post. The OB this morning also said if I have the fibroids removed, I"ll probably be stuck having scheduled C/S's if I get pregnant again. I was like WTF my fertility doc never told me that. This is so brutal. 

More updates - ultrasound showed no leftover POCs, which is good, but no explanation for the bleeding other than 'if it gets really bad, call". Wow, so helpful. Going to take my prozac now. :-/

So sorry Boots!  At least they found it now. I had to have a d&c 5 months later because there was still "leftover". I will be thinking of you.

I am so sorry. I know just how you feel. I always think o.k. enough bad stuff has happened I will be left alone for a while now. Then another awful thing occurs.

I'm sorry about all of this!!  I'm glad you got in with your better OB and there aren't any POCs leftover, so hopefully you can get to healing now.

FWIW, I had a m/c in the Fall after my late loss last year and I did have retained tissue that I had to have a 2nd D&C for...I definitely knew something was wrong (more painful than labor), so yeah you'll know (hopefully, you won't need any additional procedures!).  Big (((hugs)))!  I know it feels like you're getting kicked in the teeth after everything else you go through.  Thinking of you!
