DH and i keep arguing about buying a new car. We can't decide between the Prius V, the Chevy Equinox and the Subaru Outback. Every day, he is reading consumer reviews and is on information overload. On top of that, we can't decide which car to trade in. He wants to trade in the convertible Mini, but i want to keep it and just add an extra car. These decisions are causing great strain on our marriage.

We bought a Prius V last month and LOVE it (44 mpg!!). We are Toyota people all the way.

I don't have any room in my fridge or pantry - I'm a coupon/sale addict and I just keep buying and buying because I can't pass up a good deal. I was so happy that our local food bank had a drive recently so I could donate some food that I know we won't use, but that also means more room in my pantry for free or incredibly cheap food. Definitely a first world problem.

I was really annoyed this morning while emptying the dishwasher. I can't stand when my dishes and plasticware aren't completely dry. I have to move them from the dishwasher to the sink (to dry) and then put them away hours later.

Do you live in an area with crazy winters? If so, how does it handle in the snow? My DH thinks it would be too light and also read something about the traction control causing it to stall out or something like that.
I ordered a bunch of new clothes for an upcoming vacation and originally they were going to be delivered today but UPS shows they won't be here until tomorrow. How disappointing!

We live in New England, so we get lots of snow (well not this year, but every previous year), and our Prius has handled it just fine. It's not the Prius V, just a regular one (2009 or 2010 model year--I can't remember). We've always had a compact car, so I can't contrast it to a larger vehicle, but we've been happy with the traction control/anti lock braking system, and we've never had it stall!

We have a Subaru Outback (and an Impreza and another kind which I can't remember the name of right now) and we love it. It's great in the winter and on icey or snowy roads. DH won't buy any other type of car now, he's addicted. They handle well and the AWD is a definite benefit. They are a bit harder on gas though since they have AWD at all times. But my vote is for the Outback!

I wanted to add the multiple loss bagde to my siggy, but for some reason my lap top won't let me adjust the size. What really bums me out is that I can't do it from my phone or iPad either.

We live in Delaware (very flat, mildish winters) and haven't had the Prius V during a winter yet. I went to law school in Syracuse, NY (harsh winters, some hills) and my roomate drove a Subaru Outback. That was a good car too and did fine with the hills in the snow. We have some friends who have a traditional Prius (not a V) and live near Syracuse and have mentioned some problems with snow and hills. What are your winters like?

We're in Cleveland, so our winters can be pretty crazy. Plus, i started having panic attacks last August after my m/c and they have happened while i'm driving. So he thinks i'll feel safest in an Outback, but i love the space in the Prius V and the gas mileage. Plus, i like the idea of reducing or carbon footprint and investing in new technology. Decisions... decisions....

In a similar vein, I ordered new shoes, and they are taking FOREVER to come cause the company mailed them to my mother first and she had to send them to me. SAD.
I cannot find a white sleeveless cotton shell! This has rendered at least 5 summer skirts unwearable- and I have bee searching since the middle of last summer. Everything is either not plain enough, too boxy, too heavy. Ugh.

Last week our internet went down at home. DH and I literally did not know what to do to pass the time. We ended up just going to bed early and watching a DVD.

I have really sensitive skin and am having trouble finding a moisturizer that deals with my also dry skin, but doesn't sting or make me break out.
