~~ZERO SPERM / AZOOSPERMIA CHECK IN~~

This is a place for any of you who are experiencing the world of azoospermia.  Whether you were recently diagnosed and are trying to make sense of it all, or you have started preparing for IVF or IUI, or have decided instead to move on to adoption.  Please join in the group by posting! Check in is on Wednesdays.

Learning that the chances of having a biological child with your husband are slim to none is not easy, and is, frankly, devastating news.  This check in is a place where we can share how we are coping (or not) with our new realities, provide information we've learned through investigating our options, adjusting our lifelong dreams and plans, and dealing with the situation.  

I'd like to also extend an invitation to those with Azoo dx who have been fortunate enough to experience pregnancy, childbirth, and/or adoption.  Ultimately, all of us desire to create a family.  The experiences and insight of those who have reached that goal will be quite helpful to those of us on that road.

    Update on us: CD1 for us came yesterday so we are on for our June cycle barring any crazy delays.

    Update on us: Second delestrogen injection tonight.  Next Thursday, our anniversay, RE will make the final decision if we're transferring on the 30th.

    Hi everyone! I am unsure of the protocol to join this group. My DH had 2 SA in April and they both came back showing zero sperm. We met with a urologist this past Tuesday. He threw out a 66/33% (66% he was born that way, 33% he has sperm) statistic that was pretty scary but overall it was a okay visit. We go back in 3 weeks to get results from the blood work.

    Update:  Still waiting for AF to arrive.  This past Monday, it was 4 weeks since my D&E, so it could arrive any day now.  FX that my body cooperates and AF arrives sooner rather than later.

    Update: Starting to monitor for ovulation tomorrow for our natural FET also going in for acupuncture this weekend, go in on Monday for an ultrasound to check for a growing follicle if I do not have an LH surge this weekend.

    Thinking of you all too!  Lots of hugs!  Things are crazy busy here!  I am still teaching... My last day is Saturday. If I don't go into labor on my own, I will be induced Monday night at 7pm.

    No real news here. Just still on my DHEA. Our puppy is currently a rascal but growing like a weed.
