What would you recommend instead of the Moby?

With LO#1 I had a Moby and I did love it and used it a lot.  However, what really annoyed me was how long it took to get it on, get it situated comfortably, etc.  It would be dragging on the floor, the fabric wouldn't be as flat as I wanted...

I am looking for something that is similar but easier to get on/off for LO#2.  Long time away but I want to be prepared provided all goes well.

What are the pros and cons to some other options?  I was looking at the K'Tan and wondering if that's a good choice.

I really liked the Moby & got a k'tan and I loooove it. I highly recommend it!

i dislike my moby. I just bought a sakura bloom silk ring sling after testing out my sister's. I fell in love. It's so beautiful and simple. My baby plops right in.

I am ring sling impaired -- I just can't seem to get it right. I know a lot of people love them, but I'm not one of them.

I do love our Ergo, and DH wears it, too. I also love our woven wrap (Didymos) but if you didn't like the Moby, you may not like a wrap.

Is there a babywearing group near you where you could try a few options?

I have a Moby and a K'tan. We like the Moby, but LOVE the K'tan. It's so much easier and quicker to put on with essentially the same holds while they're little. Like PP said, I'm not sure that it's going to be the best to grow with her, but for now (she's 12 weeks), it's been awesome!!
