    Meredith College, which is a private women's college mostly known for it's MRS degrees.  I defied the stereotype by not graduating with an engagement ring on my finger but eventually fulfilled it by marrying an NC State frat boy. 

    My aunt is an art teacher at Meredith!

    American University of Rome for study abroad
    Currently in my internship for my MS at Johns Hopkins

    Yeah you is right! Congrats girl. Great decision.

    But I am big on continuing ed. I also am enrolled in correspondence courses in nutrition while I am a sahm.

    Oooh fun! Correspondence through where? Are you looking into studying nutrition in the long run?

    Alive Academy based out of BC! It's a great program I have really enjoyed it so far. And yes, I am aiming for my RNCP in the long run :) IONC isn't far away.

    Interesting! I hadn't heard of that designation before. What are job opportunities like?

    The following took place over a 17 year period with a few breaks lasting multiple years.  :)

    AA: local community college

     

    BA: Thomas Edison State College (NJ, completely online program) - I do have a few credits on my transcript transferred from Rutgers University & Fairleigh Dickinson University as well.

    MAT: FDU (partnership program at above referenced local community college)  - I will be finished in December.

    I did undergrad at a small private college here in Iowa.

    I went to graduate school at University of Houston. Another MSW!

    My brother did his undergrad at W&M. Both my sister and I went to UVA. My brother likes to remind us that UVA might be Thomas Jefferson's university, but W&M was Mr. Jefferson's alma mater.

    Undergrad: Wayland Baptist University. It took me 10 years and I am proud of it as I did it while being a single parent of 2 awesome boys.

    Masters: I am working on it at Alaska Pacific University in Psychology specializing in Child Trauma.
