LOL - I'm totally serious.
They're not full at all. DD has been U.G.L.Y. I dont know if she's not getting enough. Normally I can judge because I'm full before a feeding and soft after.
Anyone have any insight to offer? I've increased feedings today trying to stimulate more.
(I'm being treated with Keflex for mastitis right now - would that decrease my supply? Oddly enough, my infected size has the better production at this point.)
Re: why are my boobs like jello?
Oops - she's 5 weeks 1 day.
Hopefully your supply is evening out. I know the contrast between engorgement and regular production is startling; when my milk came in it sprayed all over EVERYTHING all the time. My son was soaked, my nursing bras got soaked, the couch got soaked, my pants got soaked, it was a mess, and when it was close to time for him to eat my boobs were a DD (I was in between an A and a B before I got pregnant).
After about the amount of time you're giving, everything suddenly evened out. I still got engorged, and occasionally sprayed, but I actually momentarily panicked that my milk was drying up because of the contrast, though that might have been more pronounced for me because I was overproducing at first. At this point they don't engorge like they used to, but they will still hurt a little bit if it's time for him to eat and he's still asleep. I started pumping between feedings and hand-expressing the rest of my milk after feedings to up my supply so I could continue hoarding a good freezer stash xD But even though I hardly engorge now I can still get a good 4-5 ounces just when I pump. Babies extract way more than pumps can.
