Hip Sling Help

I had a Moby & loved it--but at 20 lbs, Pumpkin is too big for it. 

We love the Ergo for longer walks, but he fusses a lot in the back carry.

I got a Hip Sling at a resale store, and thought it would be good for around the house, or in and out of the car.  After a few minutes, I can feel the pressure on my shoulder, and when I take him out, my lower back feels a little crooked.  Did anyone else have this problem?

Is Hip Sling a brand? Is it a ring sling that is adjustable or a pouch sling? We preferred a ring sling at 20+lb, I never got the hang of a hip carry in a pouch sling since the key was always to get him high on my torso and tight against me and you can't really do that with a pouch.

Can you take a photo? Either of the carrier or you wearing LO?

Make sure you put it over your shoulder (cap the shoulder), not on your neck. If it's a ring sling or pouch, it should be open and spread out over your back
