Most people have migrated over to the new forum due to the format change on The Nest.  The change should be happening here soon.

I read that people who were posting about proboards were getting deleted/banned. May want to be careful.

I read that post on the board about the changes, but I still don't quite understand it.  What is going to be changing?

Could you provide a link?  No snark here, just curious.  TBH, I'm wondering how they can delete/ban for this - it's no different than people posting about other off-boards that are created, you know?

I completely understand. So I went back to where I saw it and sure enough post deleted. Sorry. I even went on the users page and tried to find it. No luck there. I do agree with you. It is no different than posting about a different site. Sorry again.

Me too!  Well, unless they ban me for posting the link. The Nest changes were the worst format changes I've ever seen.  Once TB switches to that format I'll cease being a double agent though.  My other bump board migrated to Facebook so I really only lurk here at the moment. 

 

ETA:  Woo Hoo!  Not banned yet. Probably because I was on my Mac and never remember how to do clicky links via Safari.

I don't understand why anyone is migrating from TB when no changes have been made and the management has promised not to make changes until and unless the problems are resolved.  Far be it for me to tell others what to do, but I just don't understand why people are moving from here.  I've been happy here.  Haven't you all?  I'm still happy here, so I'm not going to leave just because other people were unhappy with an affiliate of the thing that makes me happy.  It seems like people are being a little petty.  (Situation parallel: Every time FB makes changes, users throw a hissy fit about it and threaten to leave.  Most of them don't because FB makes them happy.  FB makes the change, people give it a chance, and everything works out fine.)

I guess if you are that unhappy here, I understand you leaving and won't hold it against you.  I just don't understand...

I wouldn't trust they are going to make any improvements. They changed the local boards about a month ago and NOTHING was changed before they changed over the Nest. It is silly actually. I have never seen such a piss poor website in my life.

They even released my personal email account as my user name for a day. It was a total mess and I was PISSED to have my personal information out there. I still come over to the Bump but I have completely converted to the proboards now. They are so much better functionality wise.

From the post above from Nest Kathleen or whoever... they are converting the bump and nest local boards back to their formal format. Let's see if this makes a difference.
