OPKs, Pom Juice, BBT, acupuncture, psychics, out of pocket medical costs, pineapple core, red raspberry leaf tea, Pre Seed, lingerie, ferning microscope....[Poll]
I never realized until you asked... but between OPK's, doctor visit copays, books, preseed (that sh*t is expensive and i ended up hating it) HPT's and most recently acupuncture I'm at about $800 in 7 months.

We are just over $4000 now, with the testing, drugs, copays, co-insurance and my miscarriage. Depending on what happens this cycle, it will go up exponentially. We're looking at moving onto IUIs soon.
TTC started Oct '10
Me: AMA w/RSD, atypical PCOS w/IR, LPD and High Prolactin. Controlled HP post-loss.
DH: Low-T and borderline morph
18 cycles, 3 medicated w/RE to get to a BFP!
EDD 9/7/12, Saw HB @7w3d,missed m/c 1/30 @8w3d, d&c 2/8
11 AL cycles, 9 medicated/IUI cycles. All BFFN!
Moving forward with IVF
BFP#2 our little cycle break surprise on AL cycle 12! EDD 10/27/13
Beta #1: 41 Beta #2: 398; perfect u/s 3/11 hb @133bpm
u/s 3/25 one perfect hb @183 bpm, adjusted EDD 10/23/13
MaterniT21 and carrier screens normal. It's a girl!!! Severe Pre-E, HFpEF, PE, AMA & IF= OAD
I chose 1k-5k, but honestly it very well could be more than that, when you figure in DH's Varicocele surgery, hospital/lab bills from the MC, and all the testing with the RE... And that's not even counting OPK's, HPT's, Pom, Pre-Seed, or our vitamin regimen.
Well... Now I'm feeling kind of depressed.
TTC with MFI, PCOS, and endometriosis since February 2010
BFP January 20,2012, Loss confirmed January 22,2012
March-August 2012: Various medicated/IUI cycles, all BFN
Laparoscopy/Hysteroscopy October 2012: Fall Cleaning, Uterus Edition
I feel very lucky that so far I've spent a very minimal amount. My insurance covered 100% of all labs, MD appointments, D&C, pathology tests -- anything that had a maternity code on it.
Without IVF I would have come in around $800 maybe. The main expenses were actually pregnancy related, not TTC related. Hospital stays and never ending betas.
3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13
In the past 12 months we have easily spent over $5,000! With all the Hospital Bills from miscarriages to all the monitoring to blood work thats not covered to moving to inject cylces which weve done 2 of....march and this current cycle and they are around $1800 per cycle! I laugh at people that try to compare them buying necessities for their LO each month to me "rethinking having a child"....Heck it would be WAy cheaper a month to already have one....I don't know of anyone that spends almost $2000 a month on their child...unless your a super rich person or your child has medical issues! I m just ready for a successful pregnancy!

We have been so lucky that our insurance covers my bloodwork and appointments for the last miscarriage, so I only had about $45 in co-pays, plus about $18 in pregnancy tests (all BFN) last month.
Setting up this poll was interesting. I never know how to break down the dollar amounts, but I should pat myself on the back for this one because I think it was broken down perfectly.
Me? I haven't spent all that much. Definitely less than $1000.
I don't know of anyone that spends almost $2000 a month on their child...unless your a super rich person or your child has medical issues!
Ha. Not related to the poll at all but you must not live in a HCOL area! Daycare alone for one infant is going to run us $1600/month and then adding a baby to my health insurance is going to be another $250/month. That's not even touching diapers (although we plan to CD), clothes, food, formula, bottles, doctor's office visit copays and various other baby crap that crops up!
Six years of infertility and loss, four IUIs, one IVF and one very awesome little boy born via med-free birth 10.24.13.
mine is between 500 and 1000 because i have amazing insurance with no copay and havent had to pay a dime for 3 rounds of fertility drugs, 5 rounds of progesterone, 1 d and c, 4 uterus surgeries, over 50 doctors appointments, over 50 blood draws, and over 40 ultrasounds. the money was all spent on acupuncture
Married 11/27/09 and TTC right away Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect 4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11 Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:( Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!
I'm pushing $5000, but I voted for the $1000-$5000 range. My costs also include dr and lab bills during my pg's, RPL testing, HSG, karyotyping, and therapy costs, in addition to the OPK's, HPT's, FF VIP fee, BBT, vitamins, etc.

We've already spent almost $30K OOP this year and probably close to $50K in the past year. This includes a lot of IF treatment (including IVF) and me being in the hospital for hospital for 8 days because of it. This miscarriage has only cost me $100 so far, luckily.
After more than 2 years of fertility treatments, FET did the trick!
IVF March 2012 - BFP! - Severe OHSS = 8 days in the hospital in kidney failure
No heartbeat at 10w6d
FET August 27,2012 = BFP!
It's a boy! My Blog - 3 Dogs, No Baby
I put under $50. If I included medical bills for the m/c it would be around $300. I never really thought I had great insurance, but after seeing how much some other's have spent for just D&C's, I guess I must for at least some things.
TTC#1 starting Feb 2011, BFP #1:5/31/11, CP: 6/6/11; BFP #2: 7/9/11, loss confirmed 8/3 with D&C on 8/12 finding complete molar pregnancy. Forced break until Feb 2012. My blog

No I definitely do not live in an area with a super high cost of living! Child care for a month in ou are for 1 child would be closer to $400 a month! And the people making the comments to me live In my area as well so they definitely aren't paying much more than that for child care! Average income is around 25,000-30,000 so paying $2000 a month for fertility treatments is really high when we are only doing inject....not to mention our possibility of moving to IVF soon and we are completely OOP I have Anthem but they try to buck everything that is submitted! GL to you! And hope everything works out really soon!

Ditto.

The only perv option I could think of was super kinky, so I left it off. I'm feeling a bit warped today.

Out of pocket? Probably about $500.
Including what was billed to my insurance? We're probably past the $50,000 mark, if not higher.
I only included out of pocket stuff and I think we're around $200. It's just vitamins, mostly. And some cheapo OPKs and HPTs.
If I include what my insurance paid, we're over $10,000 no doubt. Thank god for good insurance.
