What's the little squiggly character all about?

I've seen it all over the boards but never could figure it out.

    He is the trying to conceive after a loss mascot ( I think ). That is why I have him at least.

    I have been lurking on the TTCAL board and wondering when it's appropriate to post an intro? I know for everyone the process of grieving is different - for me, I want to start working on TTC as soon as I possibly can, it gives me hope and a purpose. I've already made appointments with my OB and RE to start coming up with a plan, even though physically I know it will still be a while before I can start taking action.
