New Favorite Accomplishment

Tatum is now climbing the stairs.  He loves to sneak over there and climb as fast as he can before we get to him and then he laughs so hard when we come after him.  Its dangerous but so freaking cute!

What new thing is your little one doing?

Re: New Favorite Accomplishment

  • we live in a ranch with a basement so the only time he'd get to climb the stairs is if we're downstairs, which is rarely now, but he loves climbing at my parents and ILs house!

His new accomplishment is pointing!  It's so freaking cute!

  • Avery has recently started waving and saying bye bye! Also, she will do patty cake all by herself. The "roll it up" part is too cute!

Oh and she started walking this past weekend on Mother's Day! I cried.

  • Pushing his little car around. So dangerous (because he's not that steady and will fall on his face) but he loves it when he doesn't fall down! Gets very upset when we're "all done" with that (because Mommy is tired of leaning down to make sure he doesn't fall.)

  • We have a recent stair climber as well, lol. DD's newest accomplishment is the ring stacker. She's always been good at removing the rings but now she puts them back on. She waits for our "yay" and clapping for each ring she gets on. ;)

  • Macy took her first steps last night!!  She also started playing peek-a-boo by herself recently, especially when she's nursing.  She'll cover one eye with her hand, pause, and then dramatically pull her hand away and wait for me to say boo.  Then she starts giggling, still with boob in mouth.  Cutest thing ever.

  • Playing peek-a-boo.

She was sitting on a sheet the other day to eat and she kept pulling the corner up over her face and then pulling it down real fast with a huge grin on her face.

It's freaking Adorable and I literally did it with her for an hour it was so much fun.

Clapping. She thinks it is hilarious! Apparently she clapped for everyone at my graduation last week.

She also plays peekaboo by ducking behind the coffee table then popping back up. She is so darn cute

  • We have a big jacuzzi bath tub. Last night DS discovered the handles on the side and started pulling up on them. He was so delighted with himself and kept doing pull-ups and giggling when he got to the top and could see over the edge of the tub.
  • I don't know if it could be considered an accomplishment but DD's newest trick is making this incredibly funny face at me with her nose all scrunched up and her teeth showing. And then she starts blowing out of her nose really hard like she's trying to blow it, it's absolutely hilarious! And then she doesn't even more when I do it back to her.

  • He can climb up onto the couch. Once he gets there he starts jumping on it. Unfortunately for us he hasn't learned that he cannot get down by diving head first!
  • Waving.  Or signing "milk".  They look the same.  I never know if he's hungry or just saying hello.
