What to Expect the movie...

...looks horrible.  Not surprised considering the books are equally horrible.

I only saw preview once, but it seemed funny.

It might be a bad service as far as information about birth goes, but have an element of entertainment. Kinda like a horror movie.

Yep, I agree it's going to show pregnancy and birth in a bad light. I saw in the preview the laboring woman looks all demonic demanding drugs... Not sure I'd give my good money to see that one! Then again, we go to so few movies, I'm definitely not wasting a date night watching a movie about some one else's kids

I really dislike the drug part of the trailer. Definitely not going!

I think it looks really funny and can't wait to see it (if I'm able too!). 

I think it's supposed to be strictly entertaining and not be "real life". I've been through labor and delivery but definitely dont think it would be movie worthy, so of course they will make things over the top.  

But I do see how it's just not some people's style.

I wanted to smack DH when he said it looks good. Umm, no.  It looks freakin horrible.

I hate most mainstream comedies, they seem to appeal to only the lowest common denominator and make the easy jokes. NMS at all. I will not be subjecting myself to that kind of torture.

I think for me this was it more than the natural vs. medicated birth thing.

I'm probably going to skip it too...I hate how child birth is typically portrayed in movies in this country!  I can't imagine that this movie will be any different.
