Now that Mother's Day is over, I have no idea what craft project for Father's Day that DS and I will do for DH and the grandpas.
For Mother's Day, MIL loved the hand painted apron we did. We used DS's hands to make flowers and leaves. His fingers were used to make the stems. We used his feet to make a butterfly and used his fingers to make the butterfly's body.
Do you girls have any plans for crafts or things you did last year?
TIA
Re: Father's Day crafts
I already have my gift for this year planned out. I have answered a Q like this twice already and each time my answer has somewhat changed. THIS time I think I finally have my ideas down lol
I am doing a "photoshoot" with the kids and have them do things related to my husband. Then framing those pictures. We're making a memory box and the kids can decorate that. Then I am having them make this watercolor card idea I saw.
The I have a couple of my own ideas that will be more from me.
I made cookies with my DD and took pixs of her making them with me. Then I had her paint a cardboard craft box, glued on the picture along with a special poem, then clear coated the whole thing. After it dried I added the cookies. Both grandpa's loved it!
Then one yeat I also took a clear plastic canister and filled it with M&M's and attached a card that said something like I love you Over the Rainbow and Back!
