Pumping Help

My LO is just over 2 weeks and is not gaining enough weight so my pedi suggested pumping to know how much she is getting. The first 2 times I pumped I got a good 2 oz. The last few nights..NOTHING, my medela pump in style doesn't want to work with me. This is the frustrating part - my manual pump is working great but is so time consuming. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    are the membranes (the white flapper thing) stuck closed, or are they not closing all the way?

    I would go to youtube and search for videos on how to assemble your pump properly. Maybe it's not on right.

    Pumping is not a reliable way to see how much LO is getting.  Babies are much more efficient that pumps.  I would see if you could take her in and weigh her before and after a feeding to be sure.

    This. Your pedi may do this for you, and a LC definitely will.
