Temper tantrums?

Have your LOs started having huge temper tantrums over everything? DD has been sick for the past week and I was hoping the fits were related to that but I think she's just hit a new stage.

For example, this morning, she was drinking from her sippy cup in her crib and I sat down while she finished. She started crying, slammed the cup to the ground, sat down in the crib and threw herself back.

She's quite the drama queen. I really hope these fits ease up soon.

Yes, JT has these episodes as well. I keep hoping that once he can speak it might be better so he can tell me what he really wants...or it'll be worse cause then he can tell me right where to go! LOL

It's hasn't been too bad...yet!!  Usually while I'm trying to make dinner it is really bad.  She wants to help with everything, if I don't let her "help" then she will throw a fit.  Also, the other night DH was getting DD into her chair for dinner and she didn't want to sit there.  So, she threw a fit.  DH can't handle it, he tries to reason with her.  I just tune it out until she is done.

DS has horrible temper tantrums - usually because he wants something we won't give him.  Yesterday we were at walmart and he saw a clearance balloon - he freaked out in the cart because I would not let him have it - distracting him with something else seems to be working so far.

DD does this too especially when drinking milk, initially we thought the milk was too warm but then we caught up with her. Otherwise, she's pretty happy at home.

She cries about dumb shiiit all the time. At home, I pretend she's not there until she stops. When we're out in public (and I'm a more desperate to get her to shush) I try to distract her with toys from the diaper bag, or if I can find a baby/kid nearby to point out she will immediately fixate on them.
