Georgia Gladys is here!! 38w3d

Yesterday morning, I woke up and got ready for what was to be the start of my last week of work. I put my oldest son on the bus and put the youngest son in the car. We drove a mile to my friends house, as she drives him to school with her son. No sooner did I open the door for my son did I feel a warm gush of water. I called for my friend and she brought me some towels. DH was on his way to work but turned around to get me.

 We got to the hospital at 9am and I was just starting to have some lower back pain. They checked me in and I was 2-3cm and 50%. I did a lot of walking and got to 4cmby Noon. The doc offered me some pit and an epi and I said yes to both.  My sis is a l&d nurse, so she was there with me, which was great. After using a large foam peanut between my legs and changing positions several times, I was finally ready to push just after 5pm. They let DH help deliver, which was amazing. After 10 minutes of pushing, Georgia arrived at 5:35pm and weighed 7lb 14oz and was 20 inches. She is perfect!
