7 week old not wanting to nurse?

So, I BF my DD and since she was 2 weeks old we give her 2 bottles a day of EBM.  I think she hit a growth spurt over the weekend and seems to have slowed down on eating, but today and yesterday she just doesn't want to nurse.  She nurses only about 5 minutes a side, so 10 total.  Previously she was nursing 10 minutes a side, so 20 total.  She is having green poop which I think is from not enough hind milk due to nursing so quickly.  I've broken down and given her a bottle two extra times today after I nursed her because she won't relatch and is still hungry. Any ideas?  Is it just this age?  I'm getting so frustrated.  I'm also having a hard time nursing/pumping/feeding and trying to work from home with DD.

  • Are you letting LO decide when to switch sides? You should be watching the baby and not the clock. Let her nurse the first side until she basically falls off, then offer the second side.

Also, what kind of nipple are you using for the bottle? It should be a slow flow nipple-NB or preemie and you should stop frequently-after every half ounce or so, to burp. It should take just as long for LO to take a bottle as it does to nurse.
