All this TTA/TTC/waiting stress is getting to me and I am an emotional eater. I can feel my pants getting snug. Ugh! Tomorrow I am headed to the grocery store to stock up on healthier stuff to snack on. Anyone having any healthy and satisfying meal or snack ideas to share?

Re: I have to stop eating! Vent-ish
I so feel you on this one! ::as I finish eating a granola bar, after just eating a slice of cheese. fail.::
It's a battle every single day. Some of the things I try to keep around the house are dried apricots because they taste like fruit snacks but are good for you. I've read that it's protein that helps you stay feeling full, so beans, nuts, those kinds of things would all be good. GL to you!

I totally understand I have been super stressed and ate a ton of donuts and McDonalds over the weekend - yeah, not good.
For healthy snacks I love to eat popcorn with chocolate chips on top - if you do a little 100 calorie bag of popcorn and just a few chocolate chips they get all melty and it's a sweet and salty snack - so good!
I could have written then post myself today!! I am at an all time high and it just keeps climbing... so today I started a pretty strict "healthy eating" regimen and am working out regularaly and drinking a TON of water.
I'm sorry you are feeling this way too. It is definitely stressful with all the ups and downs of ttcal. All of the snack ideas are awesome! I'm looking forward to getting back in to my healthier snacks. I really love hummus and cucumbers as well as turkey jerky sticks (they are only 35 calories!!) GL at the grocery store tomorrow

I am the exact same way! I'm trying so hard to not eat the house after a stressful day at work. Here are my suggestions:
A veggie omlet (include the potatoes!!!) will keep you going until lunch. If you add enough veggies, you shouldn't be craving a mid-morning snack.
Play around with chicken & fish. They can be blanket canvases, so just experiment.
Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothies!!! Skim or 1% milk (about 1/2-3/4 cup), reduced fat cream cheese (1-2 oz), 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (protein!!!), 1 tbsp. Agave nectar (keeps blood sugars low), & as many strawberries as you want (tons of vitamin C & fiber).
Herbed Ricotta Bruschetta--Play around with the flavors of the ricotta. Brush olive oil on the bruschetta & grill/bake.
NUTS (whatever you like), just keep to 1 oz (about a palmful) per day
I've started snacking on sun-dried tomatoes. Usually around 3 or 4pm, I crave candy. These are sweet, chewy, & a lot better on the waistline!
I hope this helps!
