I have a UTI. Sweet. I would like everyone's positive thoughts that the census is low tonight! I've been up since 1:30 am because I've been peeing every 15 minutes and I'm the gap nurse tonight. Current census is 16 patients (we normally have 2 patients per nurse, with 8 nurses assigned per shift).

I am PRAYING that I don't get called in tonight. Trying to care for a critically ill patient while doing the pee-pee dance every 15 minutes is not my idea of safe care. LOL 

I'm also praying that the meds they just gave me will kick in sooner rather than later...

    I'm so sorry you have to deal with a UTI on top of the 2ww craziness. Sending you positive vibes that it's a slow night so you can rest and let the meds get to work!

    Ugghhh.. I'm so sorry.. that sucks!  May the census be low and the trips to the bathroom get even lower! :)

    Ugg! lots of cranberry juice (supposedly). Hope the meds kick in fast and hopefully this pain in the tuckus will distract you from a day or two of your 2ww!

    Oh wow.  That sucks.  Really hoping you don't get called in tonight.  That would be absolutely miserable.  Quick relief soon for you!

    Ugh I'm so sorry you have to deal with that! How uncomfortable. Hope you feel better soon.
    TTC since 3/2010. Me 41, DH-49. After 3 years, 6 IUIs and several IVFs we have finally have our beautiful baby girl, born on 11/7/13.

    UTI's are the worst. So sorry. I've had so many the past 20 years or so that I've become resist to most anitbiotics. Now I just drinks tons of water and flush them that way. I might recommend a cranberry suppliment for future prevention. Has done wonders for me. Now I get one maybe every 6 months or so. Good luck and feel better soon.
    TTC #1 since 2/10 Me 38 FSH 12.9 & AMH 0.16 DH 47, low sperm count due to meds. 07/11 We have sperm! 28 million, 70% motility, morphology 1% normal. 08/14/11 1st IUI unmedicated BFN. 09/11/11 2nd IUI w/ Femara + trigger BFN 10/14/11 trigger & Final IUI 10/16/11 BFN 10/21/11 Started acupuncture and loving it! 01/21 ET one embryo 6 cell grade C. Beta 02/02. BFN. Taking a much needed break. image

    That sounds like absolute hell to me. Hell.

    This is only my second UTI ever. Last one was 20 years ago in college. THAT one was HELL on toast. I can't imagine having them regularly.
