This is my first post on the 9 month board. DD will be 9 months tomorrow and thought maybe I would get more help on here.
We are nap training and she is doing pretty good. We are down to 10-15 min of fussing, but her naps are only 20-30 min.
They were 45 min-1 hour and then another 1-2 hour before we started training.
If she wakes after 20 min should I just leave her and see if she goes back to sleep or do I just go get her and deal with the "not a good nap crankiness"?
I want her to take good naps, but I don't want her to hate taking naps either!!
Re: Nap training
DD used to wake up after 30 minutes into a nap, but she was always unhappy and cranky when I got her so I stopped getting her until at least an hour until after I put her down in the first place. Often she'd go back to sleep. Sometimes she wouldn't, but at least I knew I'd given her the opportunity.
