I'm home sick today but actually feeling half decent at this moment. I all of a sudden had the urge to clean my bathroom. Like really really clean. I haven't given it a deep clean since we moved. I like to blame it on the fact that i've been sick but it's starting to gross me out. I cleaned the shower and the toilet and I'm now working on the outside of the toilet and the floor. But no matter how much I scrub, it still smells like urine! It's gross and I need help. How do I get rid of that smell?

Re: Scrubbing the toilet, help!
I would try either scrubbing with baking soda (it absorbs smells pretty well) or vinegar, which is a natural cleaning agent I use around the house all the time and it might be able to break down that yucky urine smell you're battling. I like to use vinegar in the bathroom because it's antimicrobial, but not toxic like too much bleach can be (I still use cleaners containing bleach sometimes, but I try not to over do it). Just some ideas!
Sometimes when I get that urge to clean, I can't stop either until everything is done! (Although, truth be told, I usually only turn into a cleaning machine when I have other work that needs to be done
