Blah. LO has two teeth poking through so she is miserable. I sat at home in the rain with her crying all day. I was exhausted and by the time SO got home, I was ready for bed.
Not quite the ideal mothers day, but oh we'll. It can only get better from here.

Mine was filled with ups and downs. We visited my mom for MDay. The family aspect went over just fine since it was just immediate family members. I woke up on Saturday to find that DS had cut his first tooth (explaining the previous two nights of aweful sleep patterns), then we took a 4 hour car ride with very few issues. Then DH told me that night that he forgot my gift and the cards, and Max woke me up early (4:45am) to wish me a Happy Mother's Day and just to play.
But as an added bonus, I found out that I could have one of the special pies my mother made (I have to be dairy-free for DS). So it wasn't too bad.

I had a great lazy Mother's Day! Spent most of it at home with DH & DS, lounging in the comfy Victoria Secret pjs they gave me. Sweet & simple, my kinda day. Hope everyone else's was good too!
Not bad. DH let me sleep in and made breakfast. I got a gift certificate to a spa. DS is teething badly, so he was really cranky all day long. How was yours?
I can't complain! DH got up and made breakfast and then gave me a gift. He made a stepping stone with DS's footprints on it, so cute! Then we want plant shopping, went for a walk, went to my parents for dinner and to my grandma's for dessert! I would have to say it was perfect for my first mother's day!
I had a delightful Mothers Day!!! DH cooked breakfast, we had ham and egg croissants. Then we went to church and down by the lake for some strolling and a picnic. We grilled salmon and lobster tails for dinner, followed by cake and ice cream. It was really cute, he did a great job of making me feel special. And it was a gorgeous day here in Minneapolis so overall was a perfect day.

It was pretty relaxing and enjoyable. I wore yoga pants and a tank top all day (my idea of relaxtion!) I had my immediate family over. It was a beautiful day and we spent the whole afternoon outside eating, drinking and letting the kids play in the sandbox and pool.
