How long after MC until AF arrives?

I had a natural MC the week of March 25 at around 10 weeks pregnant. When does AF usually arrive? I'm getting nervous that maybe something is wrong. When should I call my doctor's office?

My first MC I didn't have AF for almost 3 months so I called my RE and got Provera.........My Last MC was on Feb 6th I had a Regular AF starting on March 5th then didn't have have another until April 29th!!! So I just never know!  I would wait an extra week at least and then call OB or RE and see what they think is best! Hope everything turns around soon! Ts&Ps!

It "normally" arrives between 4-6 weeks but there are a LOT of women who are not "normal" after a miscarriage and take a lot longer. You can check the TTCAL blog that you'll find in some women's siggies and there is a survey on it that asks how long it took. 

I'd probably go ahead and call your doctor and just ask them for a beta test to see if you've still got residual HCG in your system. If the numbers are high they might want to do an ultrasound to check for remaining tissue.

I just posted about this   Waiting for AF also...from what the wise ladies have said on here, if it is longer than 60 days (and no BFP obviously) then call your doc...otherwise it is just kind of a waiting game

Hope she comes to visit you soon (and then leaves for a loooong time!)

This was my first MC. I don't know what to expect and I am feeling kinda scared b/c I don't feel in control of my body.

Completely understand.  I was so hoping that my body would just go back to the way it was right away.  It's a helpless feeling.  But know, that what you are going through is "normal".  Just listen to your body, and definitely if you did not have your HCG monitored till it dropped to zero call you doc.

I've done all the HCG testing. I had to go every 3 days and it was below 4 so they said that I was done MCing. I just wish my body would get the hint. It's not that I'm ready to try again. I think my mind and body needs to heal a bit more so I'm going to take a few months off but I'd at least like to have my body in some working order.

I got my first AF post miscarriage at 6 weeks.....and that was last week....I acutally called my dr. the morning before I started and asked if I should be concerned and they told me if I hadn't started in two weeks to take a pregnancy test (which I didn't think was necessary) and I ended up starting later that afternoon....

I am so sorry for your loss.  My period took about 5 weeks to come, but was normal.  By normal, I mean it was the same flow and length as previous periods.

After my first D&C it took about 4 or 5 weeks for AF to make an appearence (I honestly can't remember and it wasn't that long ago!).  It's hard for me to say what normal was, as I had been on the pill for about 10 years prior and didn't had a period before we conceived.  I'm not really sure what to expect, but I hope she shows up soon this time, too.
